About the Director

Bradley Stump has been a life-long resident of Roanoke.  Having grown up in Roanoke City Public Schools, he received a good foundation in musical concepts.

After graduating from Patrick Henry High School in 1999, Mr. Stump attended Bluefield College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music.  After serving in music and youth ministries in the Roanoke Valley, he completed his Master of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University.

This is Mr. Stump's fourth year teaching at Lucy Addison Middle School and James Breckinridge Middle School.  Great things are coming for the choir programs and Mr. Stump is glad that you have chosen to be apart of it!

Mr. Stump has two children and lives in Salem, Virginia.  He is also serves as the Director of Music at Waverly Place Baptist Church in Roanoke.  When Mr. Stump isn't doing musical things, he can be seen walking or bike riding on the greenway or doing yard work.  Mr. Stump also loves traveling, especially taking cruises.  His goal is to own a beach house one day. He also sings with the Roanoke Valley Choral Society.
