Building success, one Major at a time. Students should not be dropped off to school before 8:20 a.m. Students will not be permitted to enter the building until 8:25 a.m.  School Hours: 8:25am - 3:30pm Parents, please do not park in the fire lane when dropping and/or picking students up from school. The loop in front of the building will not be accessible during arrival and dismissal times. Thank you.  Reminder to Parents When checking out your student, please have a photo ID with you to verify identity. Our mission We believe each person has unique talents and gifts. It is our mission to help each individual develop those talents and gifts in an academic setting that promotes the dignity and worth of each one. We believe that each individual can make a positive difference. We will strive to help students develop academic, physical, social and emotional skills that will contribute to our community. We will work with school personnel, family members, business partners, and community organizations to foster student progress. District Announcements  Parent School Climate Survey Major Announcements SOL Test Schedule - May 23-24 - SOL MAKE UPS Spanish Finals Upcoming Dates - May 24 - JBMS Talent Show - May 27 - NO SCHOOL Memorial Day - May 28 - Field Trip - May 30 - Last Day of School 8th grade promotion 2hr Early Dismissal Memorial Day No School on Monday, May 27 in recognition of Memorial Day End of the Year Field Trip The Breckinridge Middle School students will have the opportunity to go on End of the Year field trip to Carowinds Amusement Park in Charlotte, NC on Tuesday, May 28. The student's lunch, dinner, and a snack will be included in the price. The criteria for attending the trip is as follows: No 3's, OSS, ISS, all library books must be returned, and all athletic uniforms must be returned! Permission forms will be passed out to the students who are eligible for the trip. Fully Accredited Breckinridge MS is fully accredited for the 2012-2013 school year.
